The Distant Shore
As I stand alone upon the isle,
Tethered, but unmoored,
I hope to find
That the message of mine,
Reached the distant shore.
From the author: This poem is about being in between. In between one phase of your life and the next. Waiting for someone to take a chance on you. Whether it's in regards to a job, a promotion, Match Day or love. You're unable to move forward, stuck in between."
