Michelle Tran is a second-year MD/PhD student specializing in cancer immunotherapy research. Born in LA, she chased the warm weather to Houston where she studied biochemistry and poverty, justice, and human capabilities at Rice. When she's not in the lab or the library, she can be found running in Central Park, experimenting with vegan baking, volunteering at the student run clinic, and capturing the essence of NYC life through her camera lens.
