Ink

A drop of water
rolling down the page.
sliding, smearing the ink,
diffusing into the sides,
showing that in black there’s pink,
green and yellow in blue.
Black isn’t just black;
it’s all those colors too.
Anger isn’t just anger;
it’s frustration and stress
tension and pain,
an emotional mess.
It’s never just anger;
there’s always a why.
It’s never just “nothing”
when you start to cry.
