Kintsugi

From the artist: Kintsugi is the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold, embracing damage rather than concealing it. This piece is a meditation on inhabiting the space between rupture and repair, making peace with what remains unresolved, and allowing loss to surface as a source of reflection and growth.

Anonymous is a daughter, a best friend, and a medical student. She creates art to honor the connections we share with one another and with the natural world we are lucky enough to inhabit.
